Parade

The true story of the 1913 trial of Leo Frank, a Jewish factory manager wrongfully accused and convicted of murdering a young girl in Atlanta, Georgia. The musical follows the efforts of Leo and his wife Lucille to prove his innocence, as they face a virulent antisemitic climate and a sensationalized media frenzy that whips the public into a frenzy of prejudice and mob mentality. Through powerful musical numbers and dramatic scenes, Parade explores themes of justice, discrimination, and the fragility of the American justice system, culminating in a tragic ending that highlights the devastating consequences of hatred, intolerance, and the abuse of power.
